Product Quality and Food Safety

The Agriculture Department provides regular microbiological test service for the company as well as swab tests, and water and ice analysis. The Resource Centre also provides other technical support and training for the workforce and the management.

The company has introduced a system of quality controls in all aspects of the manufacturing process.

The company’s new factory is implementing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and has certified good manufacturing practices from an international certification body namely, SGS Malaysia on 14 October, 2006 and also passed the veterinary inspection on General Hygiene Requirements for Food Processing Plant and certified to use the Veterinary Inspected Logo of Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, Government of Brunei Darussalam on 01 November, 2006.

Aside from this, the company has in place a strict quality control regime in the manufacturing process. The company is totally committed to producing food products that are safe for its customers through the implementation and continuous improvement of good manufacturing practices and a rigid food safety management system.

To this end, the company will provide training to its workforce in order to improve greater understanding of the proper handling aspects of the manufacturing process and to improve self-hygiene.
